Akira quickly gets up and starts wanking while Daisuki and had gone back to plowing her pussy.

I sigh sadly. "May I have some paper talismans."

"Fine, if you leave quickly."

I check my backpack and realize that I had one slot left and sigh again. I add the talisman to my backpack.

A bell suddenly rings.

"The enemy is here!"

I see samurai manning their post. I didn't know where to go, I was supposed to stay with Kentaro but fuck that!

I suddenly hear screaming. "Close the temple gate!" A monk orders.

"Rats!" A person shouts.

"Rats?"

Nineteen samurai and I race to the top of temple battlements and we saw thousands of rats with glowing red eyes.

"Burn them!" A monk orders. Fire arrows are now available in your arsenal. Using one arrow type will dimmish the number of other arrows types you have. I go to my backpack and select my Yumi bow and switch from standard arrows to fire. We take aim. "Fire!" We let loose our fire arrows and we here screeching from the rats. We continue firing more fire arrows.

We could see many climbing the walls and then I spot amongst the crowd of rats, a bald man, he look like a monk but he wasn't fighting the rats like he was trapped nor were the rats attacking him. He suddenly looks up at us or at rather me and I see what looks like two glowing red lights coming from him, they were like the eyes of the rats, was he commanding them?

"Fire your weapon!" A samurai barks at me and I take aim but not at the rats but the monk. I let loose the arrow but the rats suddenly form a wall and screech in agony. So he is commanding them! Suddenly he takes the form of a gigantic rat with red glowing eyes.

We start firing more fire arrows but this time at Tesso and his health starts decreasing. 2999 to 2500. "We can do it!" He suddenly rams straight through the gate and battlement which sends us all flying.

When I regain consciousness, my health was on 60 and see a wave of rats coming at me. Shit! Kentaro appears and his Masamune glows white. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! 1000 kills! My mouth drops and I look Muramasa with distain. More rats appear but Akira and Daisuke show up and slay them.

"Nice of you boys to show up! Everyone on me, we must stop Tesso before he destroys the temple, all the knowledge lost, our mission fails and we repeat it," Kentaro orders.

"Yeah!" Akira and Daisuke say in unison and I roll my eyes. That should be me barking orders.

I go to my backpack and use a herb which brings my health to 70. We make our way cutting down as many rats as possible. They had iron teeth and iron claws and as the battle progresses the defender NPCs were being overwhelmed.

Another wave of rats appears. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! 1000 kills! Akira throws a smoke bomb which stuns and disorient the rats. He strikes the ground which sends twenty rats flying away.

"They're everywhere!" A samurai screams and gets swarmed.

Twenty Sōhei appear charging towards Tesso but he slaps them away with his tail. "We must pray but we need time," a Sōhei says.

"We're on it!" Kentaro says.

I watch as the three men switch to their rifles. Yokai power has reduced rifle damage by 50%. "What!?" Akira exclaims.

"Doesn't matter, shoot!"

Each fire their shots and the Tesso's health of 2500 goes to 2450 and then 2400 and the last shot reduces his health to 2350. Tesso roars and starts swiping at us. I dodge but the others weren't so lucky. They were down to 70. More rats appear and I switch to my Yumi toggle between my two arrow sets, I'm glad they didn't take up separate backpack slots. I select my fire arrows again and fire an arrow which lowers Tesso's health to 2330 and then I fire another arrow which lowers his health again to 2310. He roars again and swings his tail and I leap over it and as I look, I see Akira getting hit which sends him flying into the temple wall. His heath was on 40.

Tesso was about to come upon us but Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! Tesso growls in agony, his health was 2110.

Sōhei appear and stab the rats with their yari. I run past them and attempt to help Akira but he shoves me off. "I don't need your help!" I huff and turn my attention back to Tesso. The Sōhei began praying which makes Tesso groan in agony. He reaches for the Sōhei but Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! His health was 1910.

More appear and head towards the praying Sōhei but Daisuke, the samurai commander and many more samurai cut them down. "Protect the Sōhei!"

I was about to join in but then another monk appears. "The rats are inside destroying library, we need help!"

Akira's eyes widen in horror. "The Miko are there guarding!"

"You ten go and drive them!" The samurai commander barks. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! Tesso's health is 1710 and I fire two more arrows which further reduces his health to 1670. Kentaro was panting. I guess that attack was draining his energy.

We kill a few more rats and find 10 ryō and two herbs. I get one and go to get the other. There's no more room left in your backpack. Shit, all that fighting made me forget. "Akira, there's a herb." He picks it up. I notice his health didn't change. "You should use it now."
"I don't need any suggestions from you! I'll use it when I choose to."

I glare at him as we head deeper into the temple. We could hear the screeching of rats and then as we reach the library and saw many books and scrolls destroyed along with dead monks and dead Miko.

We suddenly spot a Miko ripping pages out of a book. "What are you doing?!"

She smiles. "Well, well, part of me was hoping you would be dead so I could take the Dragon King Scroll from your corpse. How about you hand it over, whore?"

I grit my teeth.

"How could you?" Akira says sadly.

"Oh honey please, what we had was a little fun. Is your friend still alive?"

"Yes he is."

"Pity that he won't get to see you die!"

Her black hair suddenly moves and spring upon us. Her ends have barbed hooks which sinks into the flesh of the samurai and monk and she rips them apart. She releases Akira. "I'll give you a chance to rescue the whore."

"Kill her, she's the one who got us into this mess!"

"Akira you bastard!"

Harionago laughs.

"Please, talk to Katsura, we not a part of this."

"And you call yourself a samurai?"

Akira frowns. "Fine then!" He charges at her and she launches her hair. He deflects one barbed hook but the second one wraps around his Masamune and while he struggles to free it, four go around him and I watch in horror as he is impaled. 30, 20, 10 Low Health 0. DEAD

I couldn't believe it. "Akira? Akira!? AKIRA!!! YOU FUCKING IDIOT!"

"Alright, give me the Dragon King Scroll and I'll let you go."

"Really? You'll let me go?"

"Yes, Katsura wants you to suffer before you die."

"Ok I'll give you the scroll. Don't see why it's so important anyway, I haven't even opened it."

"You're jesting!"

"No, I honestly thought about selling it, scrolls just stuff to read and knowing the Kappa, it was something erotic involving anal. So take it."

She release my arm so I could get her the scroll. I go to my backpack and select my Tanto. I stab her in the eye and while she screams in pain, I quickly into my backpack again and select the paper talisman and stick it on face and she screams in agony. "It's burns; it burns!" I select my Tanto again an thrust it straight through her chin which goes straight through her head. Harionago drops dead and I select Muramasa to cut myself free.

Daisuke fire another shot from his Tanegashima which reduces Tesso's health to 1640.

Tesso throws some rubble and the Sōhei and samurai run.

"Damn that rat!" Kentaro growls.

"I'll distract Tesso while you concentrate on recharging, as it stands you're the only one capable of taking him down." Daisuke charges and Tesso swipes at him again but he dodges and reaches the feet. He slashes the foot which reduces the health to 1630.

The Sōhei resume praying and the samurai cover them. Daisuke slashes the foot again and the health was 1620 before Tesso kicks him which send him flying into the temple wall. His health was 40 now.

"Daisuke, you alright?!"

"Don't worry about me, cough, cough, stop Tesso."

His energy was fully charged. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! Tesso screams in pain and his health was 1420. "Alright time for another one!" Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! Health was 1220. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! Health was 1020.

"ENOUGH!!" Tesso throws more rubble and the Sōhei and samurai run but many are impede by the rats and the rubble crushes several of them.

"Shit!" Tesso swings his tail and Kentaro runs but he wasn't quick enough and he's knocked unconscious and his health is reduced to 55.

"It's over," Daisuke cries.

I make my way back and see Tesso still going about his rampage. Useless fools, must I do everything! I switch to my bow and fire one fire arrow and just like I thought 1000. Ha! I then fire three fire arrows and his health is reduced to 940. Tesso screams in pain and he turns to me. He swings his claw but I do back flip. I was about to fire but then I realize that I was out of arrows. Shit!

He swings his claw his iron claw and I switch to my Muramasa and slash into his arm. 920 was his health and now it was time to finish this. Muramasa tuns black and begins sucking the blood from Tesso, his health was 910 and decreasing.

He swipes at me again but I run while Muramasa was still sucking his blood 890, 880, 870 but I am hit by his tail and my health is reduce to 75. Tesso was about to step on me but Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! His health is 670 and I resume draining him. 660, 650 Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! 450, 440 Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! 240.

"Take this!" Daisuke fires and Tesso's health is 210 and then 200.

Tesso suddenly transforms back into a monk and sends rats to cover his retreat but Muramasa was sucking the life out the rats.

I laugh at his desperation to escape but then I scream in pain, I got bit by one of the iron teeth rodents and they swarm at me. Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! The rats are destroyed and then Kentaro sees Tesso running with his rats and Masamune unleashes Wind Slasher! It destroys his rats and reduces his health to 0 and he is vaporized.

Kentaro falls to his knees panting.

Damn this was supposed to be my moment of victory!
