Rogue Secret
"No buts, use it or I will be upset," I said to Mrs Snowden.
Later on, Amy and I headed for the pool. Yes, Amy was wearing a small bikini I had never seen before--an eye catcher for someone else. I looked around for Alec, but he was nowhere to be seen with his trusty camera.
At dinner. If Amie's head wasn't screwed on, it would have fallen off, looking for someone else to screw the living daylights out of. That night she screwed me. Were things looking up? Time would tell.
The next day was no different, but the following day, we ventured into the other dining rooms. Amy was wearing a very revealing sundress showing off all her delightful curves. I was being nosy. Amy was checking out for other things. She manoeuvred us towards a couple of men chatting. Amy had found her next possible lover. As I have said," time would tell."
I did the honours, introducing us to the two men. Amy was interested in the good-looking one. Amy's conversation was with him; his name was Steven Edwards. He was the same age as us. While I was talking with the other man. She had clicked. I was going to be left out in the cold. Returned to our suite, changed, and headed for the pool.
Sitting down in the middle of four lye lows. Amy removed her bathrobe. This bikini was more revealing than the one before. Ten minutes passed, and Steven Edwards was standing there in front of us (I could not have planned it better myself). After a brief conversation, Amy, true to form, invited him to sit down next to her (game on).
Alec was there with his trusty camera. Time for me to exit and see what's going to happen. I left them at the pool. I returned, and Edwards was gone. Amy said to me," A few ladies have invited her for a ladies' night that evening after dinner." After dinner, I went and played cards for the first time. Amy was with her new lover, Steven Edwards, as I expected she was late, and the screwing around with me never happened.
Alec was quick off the mark. He knew the signs only too well; he had Edwards' cabin number, but to be sure, Alec had to wait for a second meeting. Amy had told me that she had a good time at the ladies' night and would be going to more of them. After dinner, I went and played cards. This was going to be the norm from now on. Amy was late again. As I have said," time would tell."
The following day, Alec gave me the thumbs-up as he walked past me with his wife. Amy was back on form, pool, dinner, and back to Edwards cabin. Alec used the telegraph system to contact his office early that morning. He wanted to know all about Steven Edwards. It was the same that night, but the following day we were in port for a day trip. I had no intention of going on the trip, so I faked a bout of bad guts.
I watched them walk down the catwalk to the waiting transport, and Alec was close by with his wife. Alec had arranged for the ship's electrician, joiner and plumber to conceal the electrical equipment in Edwards cabin. Alec followed them until Amy and Edwards went into a hotel. Alec's camera clicked; he noticed someone else taking a photo of them from the ship.
Alec and his wife returned to the ship one hour before anyone else, heading straight for Edwards' cabin to see if all was complete, told to go to the telegraph office to receive an urgent message. That had to wait; the passengers were returning. Alec, with the Head Purser, watched them come on board. Alec pointed out the man who had been taking photos of Amy and Steven Edwards entering the hotel. The head purser gave Alec the man's name, Roger Barlow PI. Alec recognised it; he was in the same business as him. Alec wanted a meeting with him; a change of plan was afoot.
Amy had asked Steven Edward to sit at the table. Everybody at the table knew what was going on, and none of them ever said a word to me. After dinner, Amy was off to her lover's cabin. A meeting was arranged with the captain, the head purser, and Alec and me. The head purser invited Roger Barlow, PI. Alec was in charge of the meeting where a great deal was spoken about.
But the most important point was that Steven Edward's wife knew he was cheating on her. She wanted proof for a divorce. They had booked the cruise, but her mother had taken ill. She could not go on the cruise. It turned out, but she insisted her husband go on and not waste the money on the trip.
Alec asked Roger Barlow, PI, "to share whatever information he had on Edwards and Amy." I looked at Alec and nodded in agreement. The captain and the head purser left we started to replan. Alec told me he wanted the divorce papers for Amy and me, and could his Assistant fly out to the next port of call with my divorce papers and with Mrs Steven Edwards divorce papers. Alec told the three of us his new plan.
The ship was to sail at midnight. Alec was off the ship, telephoning his assistant back home, telling him what to do and fly out with the papers, and met him on the dockside. In three days, we would be in port. Amy did not change her plans. All I was getting from now on was pity sex.
Alec was on the dockside with both sets of paperwork. Roger Barlow, PI, followed Amy and Edwards for more incriminating pictures. Alec's assistant stayed in a hotel overnight, flying back the following day. In two days, we will stop at a port. I was still receiving more pity sex.
The following day, I, Alec, the captain, Roger Barlow, PI, and the head purser listened to the plan Alec had put together. For the next two nights, Mr and Mrs Alec C Snowden and Roger Barlow, PI, were seated at the table.
The last night before we docked. I had requested the addresses of the other people to send them Christmas cards. Dinner was superb, and there was twice as much booze on the table. The room started to empty, and the axe was about to fall.
The Captain rose to his feet.
"Sir."
The Captain was addressing me.
"Mr Allan James Stevens would like to say a few words." The Captain said in a clear voice.
The only person who had been addressed as Sir was the Captain. All eyes were focused on me since the Captain addressed me as Sir. Nobody had any idea who I was.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I will be brief. Could Mr Roger Barlow please take the floor?"
He stood up, holding a brown envelope behind his back, and walked around the table to Amy and her lover, sitting close together.
He walked right up to Amie's lover. Saying " Are you Mr Steven Edwards who lives at 32 Seven Avenue?"
"Yes, why do you ask me?"
"Mr Steven Edwards, you have been served with divorce papers in front of all these people." As Roger Barlow handed him the brown envelope turned to return to his seat.
Amy was shocked because she had just found out. The man she wanted to marry after divorcing me was a married man.
Amy said, "You, too, faced a lying rat; you told me you were single, and we were getting married, you used me."
Amy's thoughts came back to her, staring at my face, expecting me to say something.
As soon as Roger Barlow had sat down, Alec C Snowden stood up and walked towards my loving wife.
Alec was holding a large, thick, brown envelope in front of him for all to see, and Amy could clearly see it.
"Are you Mrs Amy E Stevens who lives at 4 Central Avenue?"
"Yes."
Alec said it slowly, "You have been served with divorce papers in front of all these people."
She looked at me and then towards her lover, then back to me for help.
"Allan darling, this must be a mistake. You are not going to divorce me. I have done nothing wrong. I love you and only you."
"Amy, look inside the large, thick, brown envelope now before you say another word."
Amy opened the envelope, spilling out all the photographs on the floor. Everyone could see her with him inside his cabin. Also inside was a DVD.
"Allan daring it's all a mistake, he forced me, he's the one to blame, not me, he forced me and was going to blackmail me if I did not go to his cabin, he's a bad man."
"Amy, wait until you have watched and listened to what's on the DVD."
"No, no, he forced me, I love you and only you."
Amy was repeating it over and over again.
"Amy, if you sign the papers here and now, you can have all the money that it says in the envelope, 100000, if not, you get what you came into our disgraceful marriage, that was pennies if I remember, and yes I did love you once, that was before I found out what you really like from your friend Diana, and all affairs before I met you. To top it all, someone at work had to tell me how stupid I had been in marrying you slut."
Someone passed over a pen to Amy as she picked it up; her lover boy was on his way out. Amy signed there, and then, I passed to her an 11 am flight ticket home after we docked. That would give her time to think about what she had done to me.
"Captain, see that the lady is transported to the airport, is my room ready and have my clothes been moved?" I spoke.
"Yes, sir, it's all been arranged."
I turned to Roger Barlow, "Thank you for your assistance with this matter; however, I will be calling on Mrs Steven Edwards myself to inform her about what has been going on in person, also, I will be paying your bill and the cost of her divorce."
With that, Roger Barlow said to me," Would you please give her copies of the photos and DVD?"
"Alec, I will pay you when you return home."
"Mrs Snowden, sorry for the inconvenience I have caused you since you have been on board. The cruise has another two weeks to go; have a nice time with your husband at my expense; every penny will be worth it, and your first-class return flight tickets are waiting for you both at the airport. And you both will be dining at this table from now on."
Amy had been listening. I bet she was wondering how I was going to pay.
I turned to the other people sitting there in complete amazement, wondering how I had become so strong.
